Annica Arneving’s mission is to get the job done while using less energy.
“It has a positive impact on the company’s results, but it also makes things easier for the individual,” says Annica, new Procurement and Logistics Manager at Holtab.
She came from a similar position at an international group. But she missed simplicity and the shorter decision-making chains. These are things she’s found at Holtab, but with a wider mandate.
”It’s great! It feels exciting to be a part of a company with local owners and fewer links in the chain of command.”
She feels the leadership philosophy at Holtab is very positive.
“Individuals are given greater responsibility. Management trusts that everyone is competent enough to do the right thing,” she says.
A TEAM OF 40 PEOPLE
Annica’s team consists of 40 people responsible for the flow of materials for standard productions and customised solutions.
That includes purchasing, receiving goods, inventorying, picking, property management and maintenance, internal transport, internal production, painting, booking transport and loading for the final customer.
”My role is to keep the flow of material organised so it’s available in the right place and at the right time for production. It’s important to be able to see the big picture in the flow.”

Annica is impressed by how far Holtab has come with digitisation and sees potential avenues for making things even more efficient.
“There’s good reason to think more about system support and facilities. The goal is more proactive work with continuous improvements. We can save both time and money.”
