Since 2021, Holtab, in collaboration with Montico, has opened a new pathway into the electrical industry through our electrician training program for women. To keep up with the fast pace of grid upgrades, Dala Energi chose a prefabricated primary substation from Holtab. The result? Shorter lead times, lower costs – and higher quality, according to project manager Lars Jonsson.

During this year’s Holtab journey to Nepal, one of the main objectives was to check in on two entirely new projects. In the remote and impoverished region of Jajarkot, two schools have been built for children following last year’s earthquake.
“Thanks to our efforts, we’re making a significant difference for people. It feels great,” says Gordon Gunnarsson, Holtab’s Technical Manager, who visited Nepal for the seventh time.

Grid companies are facing challenges as electrification accelerates. For Holtab, this development has led to new collaborations and more innovative solutions.

To strengthen its work in innovation and business development, Holtab is joining ABB’s innovation initiative SynerLeap as a partner.
“It feels exciting. This collaboration will enhance Holtab’s business and strengthen our position as a key player in the energy transition,” says Mohamed Ezzo, Senior Business Developer at Holtab.

Society is rapidly electrifying, and Holtab is prepared to grow alongside customers investing in renewable energy.
“Renewable energy is the future,” says Claus Klinge, Strategic Account Manager at Holtab in Denmark.

He’s been an elite floorball player and now coaches his sons in football. Naturally, IT Manager Freddie Börjesson shapes his team like a sports coach would.
"We’re there for each other. Everyone knows their role and how we can support the company", he says.

Pernilla Sundén, HR Manager at Holtab, was named Employer Branding Person of the Year at the Stora Karriärdagen 2024 event in Stockholm on Wednesday evening.

In her role as Contract Fulfilment Manager, newly recruited Satu Lohilahti Jönsson will be making sure that agreements with customers are monitored and that there is a relationship characterised by clear communication.
“We want to give our customers a little extra love,” she says.

In the transport sector, the development of electrified vehicles is going fast. “An e-revolution is happening right now,” says Carl-Fredrik Gyllenhammar, responsible for Holtab’s investment in electrified transport, e-mobility.

With over 50 years of experience in delivering power solutions, Holtab has gained a prominent role in the industry. Not least when it comes to tailor-made products and solutions. “Working customer-specifically requires a high level of commitment and knowledge,” says Ola Hedqvist, Sales Engineer.

The electrification wave in Sweden is underway at full speed and many companies are investing in developing renewable sources such as solar and wind power. Holtab has extensive experience in the field and valuable knowledge.
“Holtab is a link between the connecting companies and the electricity grid companies,” says Mattias Hansson, Sales Engineer.

To meet increased demand, Holtab is expanding with a new production facility in Tingsryd. With increased an production capacity, we plan to hire around 20 new employees.

“Holtab is a personal place, but nonetheless a well-oiled machine,” she says.

Data-driven analysis and modern technology are important tools for energy efficiency. Holtab uses the ABB Ability Energy Manager cloud system to not only achieve its own sustainability goals, but also to help customers optimise their energy consumption.

Yaiza Härdelin is studying “Optimisation of sustainable energy systems” at the Yrkeshögskolan (YH). A 12-week internship at Holtab is part of her education. Here she has focused on how to optimise Holtab’s electrical system.
