When the Norwegian railway administration, Bane NOR, needed help to increase traffic along the important Gjøvik line north of Oslo, Holtab collaborated and delivered a mobile switching station.

Holtab in Tingsryd has built a microgrid – a local power system with integrated backup generation – enabling the factory to operate in off-grid mode and maintain production even if the main power grid goes down.

Holtab is one of the Nordic region’s leading suppliers of power transmission solutions. The company is now expanding into Norway through the establishment of Holtab Norge AS.

To meet increased demand, Holtab is expanding with a new production facility in Tingsryd. With increased an production capacity, we plan to hire around 20 new employees.

Throughout the sixteen years of Holtab's involvement in Nepal, there has been a noticeable improvement for the people.

On Tuesday evening, Anders Holmberg, chairman and owner of the family business Holtab, was awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the East region of Sweden.

Julia Bång never thought she could work with electricity and technology. But when a friend told her about Holtab's and Montico’s open house and informational meeting about an electrical training course for women, she was curious.

In 2021, Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg, celebrated its 400th year. Trams are one of Gothenburg’s most famous features and they are powered by substations built by Holtab.

Together with Schneider, Holtab has developed a prefabricated 60/20 kV substation. European Energy in Denmark placed the order. "This is revolutionary," says Holtab's Country Manager for Denmark, Ebbe Klarskov.
