Nordic power solutions provider Holtab is strengthening its presence in Norway and has appointed Ken Isaksen as Country Manager of Holtab AS.

Holtab’s expansion into Norway is moving forward. A road trip across the country in April resulted in positive discussions with potential customers and partners.
“In addition to many valuable meetings, the timing for expanding into Norway feels absolutely right,” says Holtab CEO Michael Fohlin.

For us, it goes without saying that our products must be completely safe – both for operating personnel and for the public. That is why we follow applicable standards and carry out type testing, for example when it comes to arc fault protection.

With standardisation as a guiding principle, Division Manager Cathrine Holmberg wants to take the next step in the development of Holtab’s secondary substations. The ambition is clear: strengthen the offering and improve operational flows.

Holtab has been active in Finland for many years. Since January, Johanna Hanhineva has joined the company as Strategic account manager, strengthening Holtab’s local presence in the Finnish market.

Together with Montico, we are now launching our 2026 electrician training program for women – an initiative that has opened doors to new careers for many, while also promoting greater gender equality in the industry.

When the Norwegian railway administration, Bane NOR, needed help to increase traffic along the important Gjøvik line north of Oslo, Holtab collaborated and delivered a mobile switching station.

By reviewing both design and material choices, Holtab has developed a new beam system for the floors of its technical buildings. The result is a lighter, stronger and more flexible solution that simplifies installation and work inside the station.

Within the transport sector, the development of electrified vehicles continues steadily.
“With our solutions, you get a safe, long-lasting charging site,” says Carl-Fredrik Gyllenhammar, who leads Holtab’s E-mobility initiatives.
