For many years, Holtab has been helping to build power networks, schools, and health clinics in rural villages across Nepal. At the heart of it all is Ram Sapkota – a local driving force who makes sure the support reaches the right places and truly makes a difference.

“I’m motivated by making life better for the people around me. Holtab and I are a good match,” he says.

Holtab has now completed its first delivery of a secondary substation using a fully electrified transport solution. Our customer Eviny received the station, destined for their EV charging site in Linköping, transported 250 km by electric truck.

“Together with the haulier and the customer, we made this possible. We are all part of the energy transition,” says Holtab’s Chief Procurement Officer, Katarina Hansell.

The transport sector is steadily moving towards electrification, with the shift particularly noticeable in heavy-duty transport. In 2024 alone, nearly 8,000 light and heavy electric trucks were newly registered in Sweden.

“With our solutions, you get a safe, long-lasting charging site,” says Carl-Fredrik Gyllenhammar, who leads Holtab’s emobility initiatives.

After ten years in international corporations, she set her sights on the family-owned company Holtab. Her mission: to lead the technical work in one of Holtab’s divisions.

“It’s been easy to step into the role. I rely on Holtab’s strong values and the experience of my skilled colleagues,” says Marika Jörgensen, Technical Project Manager.

At Holtab, we’re expanding our offering with a new type of indoor-accessible station. The technical building is a standardized product with a short delivery time.

“These are smaller buildings that are ideal for lighter equipment,” says Linus Olofsson, Business Support at Holtab.

The energy transition is driving new technical solutions – all aimed at using energy more intelligently. At Holtab, we develop solutions that address the challenges of today and anticipate the needs of tomorrow.

Elfack at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg takes place from 6–9 May. We’ll be there to meet our customers and support them with their challenges.

Since 2021, Holtab, in collaboration with Montico, has opened a new pathway into the electrical industry through our electrician training program for women. Now in its fifth year, the program has already led several participants to permanent positions – and today, they’re our colleagues.

For the fifth year in a row, Holtab and Montico are launching their electrician training program for women – an initiative that has opened doors to new careers for many, while also promoting greater gender equality in the industry.

On Wednesday evening, Holtab was awarded the title of Marketer of the Year in Kronoberg County. The award is presented annually by the Kronoberg Marketing Association, which highlights companies in the region that have excelled in marketing and communication.

After three years at Holtab, where he has led the Product division, Roger Elfmark is now stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer. This new position comes with broader responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute even more to the company’s development.

With Julia Pastaven on board, Holtab is taking its sustainability work to the next level. She holds the new position of Sustainability Controller.
