Since 2021, Holtab, in collaboration with Montico, has opened a new pathway into the electrical industry through our electrician training program for women. Now in its fifth year, the program has already led several participants to permanent positions – and today, they’re our colleagues. Here, Linda, Sara, Sara, and Julia share their journeys – the leap they took, what they’ve learned, and what it feels like to find the right path, both professionally and personally, at Holtab.

On Wednesday evening, Holtab was awarded the title of Marketer of the Year in Kronoberg County. The award is presented annually by the Kronoberg Marketing Association, which highlights companies in the region that have excelled in marketing and communication.
After three years at Holtab, where he has led the Product division, Roger Elfmark is now stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer. This new position comes with broader responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute even more to the company’s development.

During this year’s Holtab journey to Nepal, one of the main objectives was to check in on two entirely new projects. In the remote and impoverished region of Jajarkot, two schools have been built for children following last year’s earthquake.
“Thanks to our efforts, we’re making a significant difference for people. It feels great,” says Gordon Gunnarsson, Holtab’s Technical Manager, who visited Nepal for the seventh time.
Grid companies are facing challenges as electrification accelerates. For Holtab, this development has led to new collaborations and more innovative solutions.
To strengthen its work in innovation and business development, Holtab is joining ABB’s innovation initiative SynerLeap as a partner.
“It feels exciting. This collaboration will enhance Holtab’s business and strengthen our position as a key player in the energy transition,” says Mohamed Ezzo, Senior Business Developer at Holtab.
Society is rapidly electrifying, and Holtab is prepared to grow alongside customers investing in renewable energy.
