Holtab delivers scalable power solutions for data centres

The development of larger and more numerous data centres is accelerating. Establishment processes are often short, while the demand for energy-efficient power solutions continues to rise.

“We have the right expertise to deliver innovative solutions with short lead times,” says Holtab’s Sales Engineer, Mikael Thorsell Gustavsson.

As society becomes increasingly digitalised, the number of data centres worldwide continues to grow. In Scandinavia, Denmark has led the way, with global giants such as Meta, Google and Apple establishing facilities over the past 5–10 years.

The Nordic climate, fossil-free electricity mix and stable infrastructure also make Norway, Sweden and Finland well positioned for continued growth in the data centre sector.

“There is a strong need for smart and secure power solutions. This is an energy-intensive industry where the supplier’s expertise makes a significant difference – and that is something we bring to the table,” says Mikael.

Holtab has extensive experience in constructing prefabricated and customer-adapted technical buildings.

“There are high demands regarding redundancy, fire safety and ingress protection – and that suits us well. We believe demand for our technical buildings will continue to grow within this segment,” says Holtab’s CSO, Lina Emanuelson.

Datacenter Forum

On 4 December, Holtab will exhibit at Datacenter Forum in Stockholm, where several colleagues will showcase the solutions developed together with previous customers. The event also offers an opportunity to get a sense of the broader market.

“It’s our first time participating at Datacenter Forum, and it feels incredibly inspiring to meet both new and existing customers. We’re confident that exciting ideas for future projects will emerge,” says Mikael.

A key advantage of Holtab’s prefabricated technical buildings is scalability. Any number of units can be docked together – directly at the customer site.

“When partnering with us, customers gain access to our expertise in both medium- and low-voltage. We deliver a complete package tailored to their needs,” Mikael concludes.
