Sales engineer Eric: Full focus on data centres
Eric Risemark Mønnich is a new sales engineer at Holtab. He is responsible for our solutions for data centres and critical infrastructure.
With a degree in energy engineering and experience from the Norwegian power industry, he already knows Holtab well from several joint projects.
‘In my previous role, I worked quite a lot with Holtab, so I already feel like part of the team. I’m excited to be joining Holtab and to broaden my expertise even further.’
The rapid development of AI and digitalisation, now being implemented on a broad scale, is fundamentally changing society. One clear sign of this is the rapid growth in the number of data centres.
Fast deliveries
Eric says that flexibility, fast deliveries and reliable solutions are priorities for those planning and designing data centres.
‘That makes our prefabricated power solutions particularly interesting. We have three factories with well-established industrial production, combined with extensive experience of customisation. That makes us a reliable partner for data centre projects.’
Eric is based in Falun, where he lives with his wife and two children. They have moved from Norway and are now back in the city where Eric grew up, following a period in Stockholm.

Innovative solutions
He is looking forward to working closely with customers and helping them find the right solutions.

Eric finds the rapid development of AI interesting on many levels, not only from an engineering perspective. It brings together society, people and technology.
‘The transformation towards storing everything digitally is fascinating. Who should own the data? How secure is it? How does power supply relate to resilience and critical societal resources? It’s incredibly complex and represents a major change.’
Keeping pace with this rapid development is an exciting challenge. Customers should feel confident that Holtab is innovative and understands what will be needed in the future.
‘Power is absolutely central to the development of society. It’s exciting to be right in the middle of it,’ Eric concludes.
