On Tuesday evening, Anders Holmberg, chairman and owner of the family business Holtab, was awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the East region of Sweden.
"It feels exciting – and overwhelming. It is an award that I share with the entire Holtab team”, says Anders Holmberg.

Continuously seeking new opportunities is a guiding principle at Holtab. This applies not only to our customer projects but also to how we work internally and how we support society and the world at large.

The electrification wave in Sweden is underway at full speed and many companies are investing in developing renewable sources such as solar and wind power. Holtab has extensive experience in the field and valuable knowledge.

Ida Hedström has long worked in industrial settings. As a coordinator at Holtab’s factory in Olofström, she gets a different feeling, a positive one.

Julia Bång never thought she could work with electricity and technology. But when a friend told her about Holtab's and Montico’s open house and informational meeting about an electrical training course for women, she was curious.

The island of Stora Fjäderägg outside Umeå is famous for nature lovers and birdwatchers. When Umeå Energi future-proofs the island’s power supply, Holtab will be involved in delivering a custom-built compact secondary substation (CSS) with a reserve power unit.

In 2021, Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg, celebrated its 400th year. Trams are one of Gothenburg’s most famous features and they are powered by substations built by Holtab.

To become an electrician, Jalil Faqiri studied at Montico Adult Education in Växjö, for a year and a half. He then started looking for an internship, found Holtab, and stayed. On 12 January 2021, he was given a permanent position as a electrical fitter. Congratulations!
