Short decision-making processes and strong products. Those are the key reasons why Country Manager Ken Isaksen believes Holtab can help customers in Norway.
Norway has come a long way in the energy transition, but ongoing developments continue to place new demands on the country’s electrical infrastructure.
“We have made significant progress with renewable energy, but there is still a growing need for additional capacity. This includes charging infrastructure for heavy transport and power supply for data centres,” he says.
Holtab offers everything from switchboards, switchgear enclosures and secondary substations to tailor-made technical buildings. Being supplier-independent, the company combines the components and technologies that best fit each customer’s needs.

A Long-Term Commitment
Ken has spent most of his career in the energy sector and served as Plant Manager at ABB’s Skien facility for ten years. The site produced compact switchgear and employed around 700 people.
After several years working as a consultant, he is now leading Holtab’s expansion into the Norwegian market.
“We are here for the long term. Holtab has a positive message built around safety, a strong company culture and long-lasting relationships. I have worked with Holtab as both a customer and supplier for decades and have always been impressed by the company.”

He highlights Holtab’s technical buildings as a particularly strong fit for the Norwegian market.
“The entire product portfolio is well suited to Norway, but our prefabricated technical buildings are especially relevant and will meet many of the needs we see today,” he concludes.
