Ken Isaksen is Holtab’s new Country Manager in Norway

Ken Isaksen brings more than 35 years of experience from the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has held several senior positions at ABB, including roles within sales, business development and operational management. For ten years, he served as Plant Manager of ABB’s facility in Skien, one of Norway’s largest sites within the power industry. He will now lead Holtab’s continued expansion in the Norwegian market.

“Norway is facing major investments in energy infrastructure, electrification and new industries. Many projects require both experience and execution capability. Holtab has a great deal to contribute, and I look forward to developing the business together with customers and partners,” says Ken Isaksen.

Chose to Become Part of the Journey

Over the past year, Ken Isaksen has worked closely with Holtab as an advisor supporting the company’s establishment in Norway. His assignment included market analysis, customer dialogues and building the local organisation. Along the way, his confidence in both the company and its ambitions continued to grow.

“I have known Holtab for more than 30 years through my work in the industry. It is a company associated with quality, long-term commitment and a strong focus on people and safety. The more I got to know the organisation and the people behind it, the clearer it became that this was a journey I wanted to be part of myself,” says Ken Isaksen.

Through the establishment of Holtab AS, the company is strengthening its local presence to move closer to customers and meet growing demand for secondary substations, technical buildings and other power solutions.

Ken Isaksen has already started building the Norwegian organisation. The team will soon be further strengthened through the recruitment of a Sales Engineer.
