The role as an Electrical Assembler

As an electrical assembler at Holtab, you work with the assembly and installation of components—both electrical and mechanical—in our substations and switchgear. Electrical installation work is carried out based on circuit diagrams, single-line diagrams and wiring tables. Some customization and problem-solving are also part of the job. There is great variation in the technical components we work with at Holtab, and we also have several different production departments, which provides good opportunities for development.

You work both independently and together with colleagues. In our production, there are lead assemblers and coordinators who provide day-to-day support. All work takes place in a safe, clean and bright work environment where, through good collaboration and safe working practices, we ensure we deliver products of the very highest quality.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with an upper secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. We welcome both those who have recently graduated and those who have worked for a while with electrical installations.

In your work with us, you will benefit greatly from a strong ability to read and work from wiring tables as well as circuit and single-line diagrams. Since most of the work is carried out in teams, it’s important that you enjoy collaborating and find it easy to learn from others’ experience. We value your personal qualities—high engagement and a positive attitude. In the role of electrical assembler, it’s also a great advantage to be hands-on and solution-oriented.

Do you think the position might not suit you just because we call it “electrical assembler”? Don’t worry—at Holtab, electrician and electrical assembler mean the same thing; we simply feel that the title “electrical assembler” suits us better.
