The role as R&D Engineer

As an R&D Engineer at Holtab, you will play a key role in our new development projects within power transmission solutions and related technology areas. You will develop products and technical solutions that meet both current and future customer requirements, while also being sustainable, safe and production-friendly.

You will ensure compliance with applicable standards and that sustainability and electrical safety requirements are met. The role also includes planning and carrying out testing, participating in technical investigations, and interpreting standards and translating them into practical solutions. You will work closely with other R&D engineers and product managers, as well as in close collaboration with our design and production departments.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a university degree in, for example, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. We would also like you to have previous experience of development work and a strong understanding of development processes. It is an advantage if you also have training in testing, quality or standardization, as well as experience of testing methodology and documentation. Experience from the power transmission industry is also considered an advantage.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You have a genuine technical interest, are solution-oriented and see opportunities in the assignments and challenges you encounter. You are motivated by driving and leading development projects towards set goals. To succeed in the role, you need strong communication skills, an ability to collaborate easily, and a structured and thorough way of working.
