We are looking for a Team Leader in Electrical Design

About the role as Teamleader for electrical design

As the team leader for electrical design, you will act as an extension of the department manager and play a central role in leading and contributing to the department’s development, ensuring technical quality, and facilitating smooth collaboration within the company. You will work closely with your colleagues, designing both simple and more complex electrical constructions in CAD for, among other things, low and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay and control equipment, and you will actively participate in the entire process – from concept to finished product. With us, you will be able to help drive future solutions for power transmission in an engaged team. Being a team leader in electrical design is the perfect blend of leadership and hands-on work.

For our electrical designers, the primary dialogue regarding an order takes place internally, but there will occasionally be some customer contact. You may also attend meetings when the customer visits the factory. The solutions developed by our electrical designers are assembled and installed in our own factories in Tingsryd, Lidhult, and Olofström. The office is adjacent to the production area, giving you unique insight into the entire process and allowing you to see your work progress from blueprint to finished product.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a university degree in electrical engineering and experience in system and plant design within the power industry. If you have worked with the design tool Elprocad or have performed electrical testing/function testing, that is a significant plus.

It is important for us to find a confident leader who enjoys inspiring and supporting their team. You are able to prioritise and manage several projects at once, and you have a genuine interest in technology with a strong desire to develop.
