Holtab starts up on August 1. The workforce comprises Bengt, Bruno and Bengt's wife Calla in the office, and Gösta, Bert, John and foreman Arne in the workshop

Bengt starts work at Jaco Fabriks AB in Hargshamn. He gets to know Bruno Ekström, who goes with him to Tingsryd

After twelve years Bengt moves on to the Secura works in Solna
